I am really excited to announce my new cover/feature in Ink Slingers Magazine for the month of May!
What makes this magazine really rad is that its all about tattoo artists and features art work from artists around the globe! My feature includes photos from one of my favorite photo shoots to date! It was shot in artist Adam Wallacavage’s incredibly beautiful house, and clothing by epic LA based designer, Mother of London. I also worked with an amazing styling team, hair by Brett Ellis Kuri and makeup by Alyne Halvajian. Photo by Steve Prue.
Keep an eye out, it will be hitting news stands May 7th!
Please check out my new interview with Fox News Magazine where I talk about everything from current trends in tattooing, to advice about getting into the tattoo industry the RIGHT WAY, along with photos of my work and where I derive my own personal inspiration for my art!
All can be found through this link to their website:
When I first decided to become a vegetarian, the transition wasn’t always easy! Some of my favorite foods had meat as a main ingredient, and without it my food just felt kind of blah. Once I discovered all the delicious meat substitutes that are out there, it made my transition to vegetarianism ten times easier AND ten times more delicious! I came up with my own vege versions of all my favorite foods, reuben sandwiches, chicken wings, chicken parm, tacos, meatballs, burgers, and one of my all time favorites… chili!!
I invited www.firstwefeast.com over to my humble, little NYC kitchen to share with them my personal vegetarian chili recipe! While I cooked them a hearty meal, we chatted about everything from my favorite drinks, to who I would have at my fantasy dinner party! You can check out my personal recipe and our dinner conversation for yourself (complete with photos AND vegan options!) here on their website: http://firstwefeast.com/eat/cooking-at-home-with-megan-massacre/
If anyone tries out my recipe, please leave feedback! I’d love to hear what you guys think, and if you have any suggestions to add to the recipe
Thank you everyone who tuned into the Rachael Ray show this morning to see a special tattoo cover up I did in the studio and a sneak peak at Americas Worst Tattoos! If you missed it, you can check out my segment here.
Be sure to tune in to TLC tonight at 9pm & 10pm ET/PT to see the premiere of the brand new seasons of NY Ink and America’s Worst Tattoos!
Super excited to announce my 2nd Cover and feature in Inked Magazine now on news stands!
I really enjoyed shooting the photos for this feature, it was definitely no typical, stuffy photo shoot! Probably one of my most colorful shoots to date, I think this shoot really encompassed my personality traits. Instead of your typical posing and sultry facial expressions, I got to exercise my fun side. I laughed, rocked out to music, fought off wards of ornery balloons and they even let me eat candy!
Heres a peak at the cover, but your going to have to actually go open a copy yourself to see all the goodies inside! Also, be sure to read my feature to find a little insider information about the brand new 3rd season of NY Ink AND the premiere of my new show America’s Worst Tattoos BOTH airing back to back this April 4th starting at 9pmET/PT!
Be sure to check out the Inked Mag website to view the feature online!
TLC THURSDAYS GET INKED WITH THE SERIES PREMIERE OF ‘AMERICA’S WORST TATTOOS’ AND RETURN OF ‘NY INK’
–AMERICA’S WORST TATTOOS & NY INK premiere Thursday, April 4 at 9 and 10 PM ET/PT –
(New York, NY) – Tattoo greats meet tattoo mistakes on Thursday, April 4 with the series premiere of TLC’s AMERICA’S WORST TATTOOS and season three premiere of NY INK.
Kicking off the night at 9 PM ET/PT, AMERICA’S WORST TATTOOS will take a look at some of the most awful, hilarious, grammatically-incorrect and just plain weird tattoos the country has ever seen. Luckily, with the help of famous artists like Tim Pangburn, Jeremy Swan and NY INK’s Megan Massacre, AMERICA’S WORST TATTOOS will highlight the process of turning life’s biggest regret into a tattoo masterpiece. The show will also delve into the unfortunate tattoo’s backstory, the creative brainstorm of how to cover it up and, last but not least, the big reveal.
Continuing at 10 PM ET/PT, TLC returns to SoHo’s Wooster Street Social Club (WSSC) to follow the life and work of iconic tattoo king Ami James and his team. Season two of NY INK left off with the booming success of Ami’s shop in SoHo—and the emergence of internal tensions within the WSSC crew. The saga continues in season three with stories and struggles as expressive as the tattoos themselves. Joining Ami, Tommy Montoya and Megan Massacre in this new season are a virtual melting pot of international tattoo artists: Brazilian Rodrigo “Hot Rod” Canteras, Argentine Lee Rodriguez, Aussie Mike Diamond, Japanese Yoji Harada and born-and-raised New Yorker Jes Leppard. The result is a living masterpiece that pulses with as much energy as the skin they ink—nothing you’d expect from the established personalities and everything you would from the City That Never Sleeps. Will the WSSC originals accept the newcomers—or will rivalries form?
AMERICA’S WORST TATTOOS is produced for TLC by Magilla Entertainment. NY INK is produced by Original Media.
